At this event we will discuss some of the ways that exceptional product managers are able evolve into business leaders, why this is important to career development, and how you can get started today. Our panel of senior product leaders will share their experiences and what they’ve found works the best across multiple companies.

About The Speakers:

  • Yassin Abo El Nour, VP of Product at Spoiler Alert, is responsible for guiding the product strategy, roadmap, and feature prioritization. Drawing on insights from customers and internal sources, Yassin’s role is to drive product success by ensuring that all stakeholder needs are aligned and worked into the product, from ideation and design through to release. Yassin holds a BSc of Electronics Engineering from the American University in Cairo and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

  • Nora Tucker, Product Lead at Gusto, leads the Accountants product team, an all-in-one people platform for payroll, HR and benefits. Prior to Gusto, she held roles across product, marketing and customer care at companies such as DocuSign, Intuit and National Instruments. She also has extensive global experience, having worked in 7+ global markets. Nora holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado.

  • Jon Burns, Product Development Consultant at Modern Product Consulting, has been building software for 19 years across several industries and all tech platforms. Today he is Founder of Modern Product, a services business that helps companies establish data-informed best practices to build better products more efficiently. He has a BS Computer Engineering from University of Washington and an MBA from UC Berkeley.
