Product managers have to stay on top of a vast array of information including product and sales metrics, market trends, competitive offerings and internal company dynamics to develop a compelling product vision and effective product roadmap. Most product managers could easily answer questions on any of these topics (e.g. “it’s in my head"), but there has not typically been a format to arrange all of the data and process to update and react to what is happening. It’s difficult to keep everything in focus, and even more difficult to bring others up to speed.

At this event we will take an in-depth look at product reviews, why they are important, and how they can help product managers at every level up their game and improve alignment among teams within the company. Our speakers will introduce the topic and then provide a deep-dive on the various content included in comprehensive product reviews. Comprehensive reviews cover:

  • User research and validation

  • Market trends

  • Competitive assessment

  • Historical sales data

  • Roadmap

  • Customer support

  • Product health / tech debt / quality

  • Product team staffing / ratio checks

You will walk away from this session with exposure to the format and the ability to start applying these concepts at your own job the next day!

Agenda for the Evening:

6:45pm - 7pm - Small group breakout sessions
