The last few weeks have been quite overwhelming. By facing a pandemic, social isolation, work-life balance instability, and even toilet paper shortages, it’s understandable to feel burnt out. We could all use a mental vacation in these tough times.
Join BPMA and TyDi Yoga to learn approaches to mindfulness and breathing -- followed by a yoga session.
TyDi will overview how you can apply the following to your life:
An understanding of what mindfulness is and what it isn’t
An exploration into mindfulness practices you can do
Methods to tune in to and observe your thoughts and reactions to the world around you
Methods to connect to your body through mindful movement
This will be a participation based event -- so join us from a place where you can sit comfortably with space around you, wear athletic fitting clothing and bring a journal with writing utensil.
Agenda for the Evening:
7:00pm-7:30pm - Introduction to mindfulness
7:30pm-8:00pm - mindfulness technique and breathing exercises
8:00pm-8:30pm - Yoga Session
